Terms of Use

Kiwi Money helps you track and manage your expenses. You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.

• Personal Use Only: Kiwi Money is provided strictly for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not use this App for business accounting or commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

To ensure a safe experience, you agree NOT to:

• Provide fraudulent info, impersonate others, or share your account credentials.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or attempt to access our codebase or other users' accounts.
• Use the App for any illegal activities or unauthorized commercial campaigning.

User Content License: You own all the financial data and information you enter or sync. However, by using Kiwi Money, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display that data solely to provide you with the App's features (like categorization and insights).

We offer monthly, annual, and lifetime plans via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat.

• Manual Cancellation Required: If you switch from a recurring subscription (monthly/annual) to a Lifetime Plan, the App Store will not automatically unsubscribe you from the old plan. You are responsible for manually canceling your old subscription in your device settings to avoid being double-charged.
• Refunds: All payments and refunds are managed by Apple or Google according to their respective store policies.
• Forfeiture: If you delete your account or uninstall the App, you forfeit any early-user discounts or promotional offers.

Kiwi Money offers a voluntary referral program. By participating, you agree to these terms.

4.1 How It Works

• You get a unique referral code when you sign up.
• Share it with others. When an Invitee enters your code and subscribes to a paid plan after their trial period ends, that's a "Conversion."
• The program has two tiers:
  • Tier 1: Rate Kiwi Money on the App Store or Google Play.
  • Tier 2: Earn Conversions by inviting friends who subscribe.
• Completing both tiers unlocks lifetime access to Kiwi Money Plus, provided all 3 Conversions are on annual plans.

4.2 Rewards

• Each Conversion earns you a 1-month subscription extension, regardless of the Invitee's plan type.
• There is no cap on the number of Conversions you can earn.
• Due to App Store and Google Play limitations, a maximum of 2 extensions can be applied per renewal period. Any remaining extensions carry over to your next renewal.
• Free users accrue Conversions, but extensions only apply once you subscribe to a paid plan.
• Lifetime access requires both tiers complete, and all 3 Conversions must be annual subscriptions.
• All rewards are non-transferable with no cash value.

4.3 Invitee Rewards

• Invitees receive a one-time 1-month extension after subscribing to a paid plan and completing their trial period.
• Each account may only claim one referral code. Once claimed, it cannot be changed.
• By claiming a referral code, you acknowledge that your first name and profile picture may be visible to the referrer on their referral progress screen.

4.4 Rules

• One code per account.
• Conversions must be genuine. Fake accounts, self-referrals, and incentivized installs are prohibited.
• We may investigate suspicious activity and revoke rewards, reverse extensions, or suspend accounts if abuse is found.
• We may modify or discontinue the program at any time. Rewards earned before changes remain valid unless obtained through abuse.

• "As-Is" Service: Kiwi Money is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we strive for 100% uptime, we cannot guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% secure.
• Not Financial Advice: The App is an informational tool for educational purposes only. Categorization is done on a best-effort basis and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for verifying your data before making financial decisions.
• Third Parties: We are not liable for disruptions or data loss caused by third-party providers (like Google Drive, Apple iCloud, or payment processors).

We protect your data with industry-standard security measures. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

• Your Role: You are responsible for securing your device and account login. Kiwi Money is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to maintain proper security (e.g., sharing passwords or leaving your device unlocked).

Kiwi Money, its code, architecture, design, and branding are the exclusive property of Kiwi Money Pvt Ltd. Any unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

• Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason—including if we believe it is necessary to protect our community or the App's integrity.
• Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sri Lanka.
